The 1600’s was full of surprises from the invention of microwave ovens to witch craft, other then that it was kind of boring apart from the occasional witch burning. This is where brooms come into play, brooms were a go-to method of transport for witches across the globe, but the airspace was heavily tolled place and witches were going bankrupt left and right. One day a witch was so fed up with her increasing debt she decided to evade her tax from the WTO (Witches Tax Office). Little did she know the WTO had sold her out to the mortals and, one day when she landed in her garden at night, they were waiting for her. That night torches and pitchforks were seen across the land as a single witch ran and dived into a river never to be seen again. Later that night a broom could be seen standing in the middle of a large bonfire. The moral of this story is to, please don’t commit tax evasion.
